question about the fair in Mechelen

Ralf Wittkamp

Hello.
Sorry for that questions, but as German I can't visit the fairs in Utrecht and in Mechelen (and I visit Utrecht).

When any member would visit Mechelen, it would be very kind if he could make some pictures of new L.S. Models articles and show it here or send it with e-mail. I'm sure, Mr. Piron has again something new to show. And when a flyer with new announcements would be presented, it would be nice when somebody could scan that flyer and send it to me.

I'm very interested in the SNCB serie 18. L.S. Models announced it and perhaps he has something to show of this loco (I know a little bit early :)).

Perhaps some new information could be written in this thread (I haven't found another thred yet).

Thank you.

Fantastic. Another LS Models fan.
Their products are so great.
I'm glad I'll see lots of pictures of them because of Ervin. The info they provide isn't updated a lot.
I'm still waiting impatiently for my NMBS 27.

Hello Erwin.
Thank you very much for the pictures. The models look great. I believe, I have to order one loco of the serie 21 and/or 27 [:)].

The different container cars and one loco of the serie 15 are ordered since a few month. So the look of the different container cars is fantastic and the quality seems to be top. When I look at the picture of the serie 15, it was wearth waiting for the L.S. Models loco.

But I have three more questions:
- Do you have a "better" picture with the coil transporter in picture 1 and when would it be released?
- Was anything viewable of the SNCB 28 (Bombardier TRAXX, manufactured by ACME)?
- Has Mr. Piron perhaps annonced a releasing date of the SNCB 18 (new Siemens multy-system loco, which was showed at the Innotrans)?

I hope, Mr. Piron is in Cologne in 2 weeks and he would show the same samples or more of them [:D]. Two years ago it was nearly impossible to speak with Mr. Piron, becuase he had no time.

@ Kees-Jan:
Thank you for your picture. That design looks very interesting. I'm looking forward to see the complete train with this paint-scheme and I'm sure, L.S. Models would produce that complete train. Have the "real" locos still that green roof on top of the cabine? That "destroys" the complete nice looking design (from my point of view).

Ralf,

For your info: LS has forgotten to design the BD coach! I will help them to get all the info for them and the lay-out.

(yes the Traxx in red has the green roof[V])

Someone said in another thread that they should be available in 4-5 weeks. First of all the EpIV versions.

Hello Limelette.
Thank you very much for your pictures.
The L.S. Models SNCB coil-transporter looks fantastic. Even the coils look very nice. When I compare that waggon with the Liliput coil-transporter it is a difference like day and night. Of course I know, that the Liliput waggon is a different DB serie [:)].

Congratulations Mr. Piron.

I 've heard Alain Jennes telling a SNCB-collaborator to expect the release around new year or so. Further on he told us all articles in the catalogue that carry an official number are quite certain, only 'projects' might still be altered. Patience...
