Australian Steam Engine 3830 by EUREKA Models

Hi,

today my long time ordered modfel of an Australian Steam Loco arrived here in Duitsland! It is a HO Model (DCC and Sound)!

Ja et klopt nog! Ik model BENELUX! You can notice,that the "Australian model" runs into a Belgian station!
I was in Australia for serval times and so from time to time I buy a model that I like!

Niet echt logisch, maar als je het model mooi vindt (en zelf vind ik het ook mooi), dan kunnen Australi? en Belgi? wel ineens buurlanden geworden zijn, h? []

Heb eens gaan kijken  bij EUREKA. zijn precies wel betaalbaar als ze uit messing zijn. Made in china zijn ze ook.

Is the model made out of brass ? And what was the importcost (TAX) for it ?

The model is a fine work, made in China, from the quality like the LSmodels!
The model nearly sold out, because we had waited for it at last more than 4 years!
I think the rerun will come soon!
From the advertised price you can deduct 10% Australian tax!
Here in Duitsland I had not to pay customs, but 19% of tax!
The model is a mix of plastic and metal! Chassis is metal rest is plastic!
