Both Cobalts of the double split (we call them double slip) need to have separate addresses. I made one of them address 1 and the other one address 2. They should be created as separate accessories as "regular" turnouts in the system at first. I suggest creating them in slots 2 and 3 of the accessory panel.  Then once both are created and tested on their respective addresses, create the double slip switch in the first slot of the accessory panel separately with address 1 using the Accessory Type/Icon as the "Double slip turnout (4-way)". Once added to the panel and the panel saved, when you tap on the icon for the 4-way switch you get a popup for which route you want the switches to throw and you can choose one of the 4 options. Tap the option you want and the switches will align for that option. Sometimes both throw and sometimes only one throws.

If you want, you can then hide the two regular turnouts on the accessory panel with addresses 1 and 2 by editing the panel and then holding your finger on one of the icons for the regular turnout for a few seconds until the top of the window changes to the edit screen. Under the 3 dots in the upper right corner is an option to "Remove Link" which will hide the turnout. Do the same for the other one. Save the panel and now only the 4-way switch icon remains.

It works very well from what I can tell. Also another test was to make the double slip address 2 with one machine address 2 and one machine address 3. This worked. The double slip itself has to be created with the lowest address of the two switch machines used.

If the two switch machines are address 1 and address 2 and the double slip address is address 2, it does not work.

This means that any number can be used for the switch machines. You could use 18 and 19 for each of the machines and then assign the double slip itself to 18 and it works. You could use 35 and 36 for each of the machines and then assign the double slip itself to 35 and it works. All that matters is the two machines have consecutive addresses and that the double slip is addressed to the lowest address of the two machines.

Met dank aan Train Service Danckaert voor de goede service.

Groetjes,
Koen
